Dr. Stephanie A. Schwarz-David – Veterinarian

With Blue Sky since: 01/10/2017
Education: Colorado State University

In her youth, she always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. Growing up in the rural San Luis Valley near Alamosa, Colorado, and participating in 4-H provided a wonderful environment for learning about her chosen career path.

She received her DVM from Colorado State University in 1992 and began her veterinary career in the small town of Estacada, Oregon. Her patients included a variety of companion pets, horses, exotics, and farm animals.

In 1996, she returned to Fort Collins for her husband’s career and to be nearer to relatives due to parenthood. She resumed with only small animal part-time work as it allowed her to continue to practice veterinary medicine and also be able to take care of her growing family. Her five children, ages 13-23, fill her life with adventure and joy. Her pets include a 3-legged German Shepherd, 2 cats, a bunny, a hamster, and a goldfish.

She is so excited to be pursuing her lifelong dream of being a veterinarian. Blue Sky Animal Clinic has an excellent staff dedicated to the health and happiness of pets and their families. It is a pleasure to be part of such a fine group of wonderful people.
